ESPCI Crossing Bridges Run

At ESPCI 2023, our slogan is ‘Crossing Bridges.’ This nod to the two iconic bridges Waalbrug in Nijmegen and Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam represents the collaboration between the Radboud University Medical Center and the Erasmus Medical Center for this conference. But it also symbolizes our desire to bridge gaps between different fields and learn from neighbouring disciplines. To achieve this, we have invited keynote speakers from adjacent fields to share their insights and knowledge with our attendees. By crossing these bridges and exploring different perspectives, we hope to expand our own expertise and enhance our understanding of cochlear implants in children.

A perfect match with the ‘Crossing Bridges’ slogan is the ESPCI 2023 Crossing Bridges Run on Friday, June 2nd at 6:45 am. The running route will take us over two iconic bridges in Rotterdam, the Erasmusbrug and the Willemsbrug. We’re organizing this run to promote sustainability and health, as we believe that taking care of our bodies is just as important as taking care of the planet. So, pack your running gear and join us for this invigorating experience!
