Mr Reuser is an oculoplastic and ophthalmic surgeon based in the Midlands, UK. He trained in both The Netherlands and the UK. He was a co-founder of the Association of Ophthalmologists (UK) as well as the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society, and has been in BOPSS’ Executive Committee since 2017. He is also the co founder and past director of the Midland Eye Private Clinic in Solihull. His interest in sustainable healthcare has been “subliminably active” forever, but was rekindled properly when joining the dutch sustainable ophthalmology group.
Summary In this talk , there will be an historic overview of sustainability in ophthalmology, how the dutch eye sustainability group got to it’s achievements, and what it’s achievements are to date.
