Elise Verwaerde

Elise Verwaerde, has a background in audiology and is currently a PhD scholar at Experimental ORL, department of Neurosciences, KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research focusses on unraveling how cochlear implants can be fitted in an objective way by means of electrophysiological measures. She currently investigates the use of auditory steady-state responses for the fitting of cochlear implants and to probe envelope encoding.
