Dennis Massar

Bio Dennis Massar, student at the dance academy ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. Dennis got meningitis at the age of 2, due the meningitis he got severely hearing impaired. Which made him a candidate for a CI. In 2003 his first implant was implanted at LUMC, in Leiden. In 2016 he got his second implant. Dennis went two years to special education and from the age of 5 he went to regular education. After finishing elementary school, secondary school and Secondary vocational education, he is studying for his bachelor. At an early age his interests for culture and arts started, so he followed drum and dance classes as a kid. Later on his interests were in DJ’ing, photography and dance. Nowadays photography and dance is where his interests still are. Dennis started in 2019 to relearn the Dutch sign language (NGT). And is now proficient in the NGT. About a year ago Dennis also started using sign language interpreter at his education. Which he benefits from a lot.
